"She was shouting at one driver because he scraped her umbrella," Akpan said, dropping his voice to a conspiratorial whisper. "But Madam, that is not even the main gist. The driver is the new boyfriend of the nurse next door!"
Titi immediately looked up from her phone, her eyes wide. "Wait, Akpan, the nurse with the red car? I thought she was dating that tall guy from church!"
"Ah, Junior Madam, that one has cast!" Akpan clapped his hands once for emphasis. "The church guy found out she has another person in Lekki. Now this driver is the new one. He even brought her gala and cold soft drink this morning."
Big Madam burst into a loud, rich laugh, shaking her head. "Akpan, you see everything in this street. Your eyes are like CCTV."
"Madam, if I don't look out for the compound, who will?" Akpan grinned, feeling victorious.
